Politics and wealth: a lopsided alliance?

The rich are getting richer and the question of who gets what and why is ever more at the center of political science. In our research project we ask, how politics contribute to growing economic inequality – and whose interests do MPs actually represent? Do they represent the poor or higher income groups? And what are the personal and financial backgrounds of MPs that work on these redistribution policies?
